[About Blogger]

21-year-old engineering undergrad. Looks forward to finishing college. Would like to say that she knows what she wants to be after graduating but she knows that, that would be a blatant lie. Needs another year to figure it out.

She enjoys reading non-academic books, listening to music that people around her hates, watching movies that other people have watched the previous year, taking photographs that people tell her are crappy and telling stories that no one wants to know. She is not the most optimistic person in the world.

She is not sure if carrots will actually help you see better in the dark. Blogger along with her siblings used to crunch carrots (she now hate carrots) back when she was a kid. Now, everyone in the family (except for blogger) needs glasses. Blogger's eyesight is deteriorating but parents won't let her to get her glasses done because they said blogger does not need them, yet. That title will stick until she gets her glasses done.

It is also a line from a song by The Wombats, which is good. Really.

She is very thankful that people actually come here to read this (that means you). So, thank you. Very much.

13songs

13 songs that i've been listening to most this past few weeks. Listen here.

[LCD Soundsystem - Daft Punk Is Playing At My House]
-> found this on some blog and it's good. been listening to it a lot. i used to never want to listen to electronica type music because mostly most the time, they're just noise. not the good type, too. but i guess i've been making a few exceptions these days.

[Glen Hasgard and Marketa Irglova - Falling Slowly]
->watched Once a few days ago and know what, i thought it was really, really good. and i love this song. i somehow imagine someone sitting down, head on knees, quietly in a corner of room, crying silently listening to this song. i dont know. but that image sort of pops up when i listen to this. it's heartbreakingly good.

[Nada Surf - I Like What You Say]
->from Nada Surf new album. i've been a fan of them for some time. the new album is good.

[Michael Cera and Ellen Page - Anyone Else But You]
->also only watched this very recently. and this.. well, it wasn't as good as i thought it would have been. in fact, i thought the character Juno got pretty annoying half way through the film. pretty disappointed though. with all the good things that i've heard people say about it. it just wasn't that good of a movie. but i love the ending where they sang this song. ooo.. i should have warned you about spoilers. my bad. oh well.

[Bella - No One Will Know]
->im not sure how i found this. but it's been on heavy rotation.

[Brooke White - Let It Be]
->yeah, i listen to american idol. and i think of all the songs i've heard thus far, this one is probably the best. i love this version by brooke white. goosebumps, i tell you. it's good.

[Jens Lekman - A Postcard To Nina]
->only recently got this. never listened to what he was saying though. but then yesterday, i was just sitting around listening to this and decided to listen to him, properly, because i haven't been doing so. and you know what, this song probably made history. it's the first song ever that made me literally laughed out loud without intending too. i wont tell you which line though. a very clever song. and it's a true story too (i did some research) which makes it a lot more interesting. sorry tina fey, but jens lekman is my new hero.

[Junior Boys - Teach Me How To Fight]
->this is one is on heavy rotation too. i dont know but "can you teach me how to fight?" just somehow gets to me.

[The Charlatans - Oh! Vanity]
->this one is just one of those feel good songs. i listen to so many depressing songs, i need a few feel good songs too, you know.

[Pinback - Versailles]
->i initially thought this was called verailles because that was how the file of this i had was spelled. then i spent a lot of time trying to catch him say verailles. he didnt. then i got that it was actually versailles. made me feel stupid for a while. but, at least now it's correct.

[Ramiele Malubay - In My Life]
->somehow, i think she sounds better in the studio recordings than live. i dont know. maybe it's just me. but this is one of the good ones for me.

[Sara Bareilles - Love Song]
->this song is catchy. you can say whatever you want but this song is catchy.

[Windmill - Tokyo Moon]
->i love his voice. and the chorus and the music. i just didn't like the ending, when that guy started laughing. the song would have be way better had they cut that part off.

Love Song is catchy. I "almost" bought her album today but I resisted.

And thanks, if it wasn't for your mention of "Anyone Else But You" I would have totally forgotten that I left my iPod downstairs...as that was the last song playing when I shut if off and put it down.
